Jason Grueneich Founder

After overcoming addiction, homelessness, and an HIV diagnosis, I returned to my hometown to found North Dakota’s first HIV nonprofit—and that’s just the beginning of my story.

Board Member

A Minnesota native who has lived across five states, I’m now a mother of two boys and two dogs, working at BSC in Student Finance after nearly two decades in higher education while dedicating my free time to mentoring women and supporting my children’s sports activities.

Christina Sambor Board Member

Christina Sambor is the North Dakota State Director at Gender Justice, a licensed attorney who has lobbied since 2015 for vulnerable populations while successfully strengthening protective laws and securing funding for related programs.

Gina Schaefbauer

At the heart of Shine Bright & Live is our administrator, Gina Schaefbauer, whose passion for mental health advocacy and unwavering support for the HIV community shape our work every day. With deep faith and a commitment to service, Gina brings lived experience, leadership, and love to everything we do—ensuring that every voice is heard, every barrier is challenged, and every person has access to the care and support they deserve.
